In these worksheets 3- or 4-digit factors of 100 are to be divided by a 2-digit factor of 10 resulting in a whole number answer.
Though they look complicated at first glance, a good memory of the
times tables and an understanding of how they can be inverted - i.e. 3x4=12, so 12÷3=4 and 12÷4=3, leaves the child just needing to concentrate on getting the correct number of zeroes in the answer.
e.g.
3600 ÷ 40 = 90
